GHK Rugby club is deeply saddened to learn of the death, after illness, of former player and 2xv captain, Duncan Campbell 1993-2024.
Duncan, along with his brother Danny, represented the club for many years and was a hugely popular member of the GHK family. He captained the mighty 2xv for a number of seasons and was well known for his leadership qualities and kindness.
All at the club send their heartfelt condolences to Duncan’s family and friends at this time.
A message from the Campbell family:
“A celebration of his life will take place on the 3rd of September 2:15pm at Kirkcaldy crematorium, followed by fun, laughter and drinks at the Aurrie in Lower Largo. Dress code is colourful.
His life had a profoundly positive impact on so many people. His poetry, writing and performances about depression have saved lives and his fearless sense of adventure and charisma has helped pioneering cancer treatments make progress. Rather than flowers, a donation to either The Canmore Trust or Funding Neuro would be welcomed.”
